The research  „Latvia and the United States: a New Chapter in the Partnership” was presented by Andrejs Pildegovics, Latvian Ambassador to the United States, and Andis Kudors, Executive director of the Centre for East European Policy Studies (CEEPS). Heather Conley, Director of Europe Program at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, presided over the event and chaired a discussion on the Latvia – US partnership and its future prospects. The discussion was joined by representatives of the US State Department, think tanks, Baltic communities in the United States, as well as diplomats from Estonian and Lithuanian Embassies.

The research was carried out in cooperation with Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the US Embassy to Latvia, and it was supported by Rietumu Bank’s Charity Fund, American Latvian Association and Freeport of Riga. Click here to read the research.
