A.Kudors explains the Baltic security risks in conference in Lithuania

On January 12, the Executive director of Centre for East European Policy Studies Andis Kudors participated in the conference “Security in Central and Eastern Europe: NATO, Russia and the Way Ahead” which took place in Vilnius, Lithuania. A. Kudors delivered a speach on non-military security risks in the Baltic States.

The aim of the conference was to bring together distinguished experts of transatlantic relations and Russia to discuss the future security environment of Central and Eastern Europe. The conference focused on CEE security issues and explore the topic in relation to three perspectives: NATO’s role beyond 2014, the prospects of U.S. engagement in Eastern European countries and Russia’s place in European security architecture.

The conference was organized by the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University and Ronald Reagan House .
