On November 25, the Centre for East European Policy Studies (CEEPS) was visited by representatives of Swedish Defence Research Agency FOI. During their meeting with the CEEPS Executive Director Andis Kudors and researcher Māris Cepurītis, the FOI representatives expressed their interest in research directions of the CEEPS, as well as the influence of Russia’s media and the Russian language media in Latvia, the issues of Latvian strategic communication, Russian speaking citizens’ mood in Latvia and the other topical themes.
Both the Latvian and Swedish researchers shared the opinion that the Ukraine’s events had caused the necessity to reconsider everyone’s position toward the security situation in the Baltic Sea region.
